Worship Team
At Second Chance Church we believe in freedom of worship. Here you will discover Biblical expressions of worship that are still being practiced today!
Flags & Banners – demonstrate and declare God’s presence exalted in our midst, to declare the name of Jesus before humanity, the powers of darkness and our Lord’s dominion to claim spiritual territory. Banners bestow honor and make His praise glorious!
Shofar – the blowing of the Shofar is used as a call to gather for worship, to usher the presence of the Lord, to make a proclamation, to sound the alarm for war, and as a call to battle. When we blow the Shofar during worship, we are stirring up the heavenlies and putting the enemy on notice!
Mattah – is a Hebrew word for Rod or Staff. Throughout scripture, the Mattah was used for different reasons: to denote the authority of a household or tribe, as a sign of God’s power, to bring judgement, and to release the power of God. Every time we strike the ground with the Mattah in our worship, we remind the enemy of the territory that has been taken by our Lord Jesus and His authority at the Cross!
