4 Garden Work and Learning Information Meetings in April

SCC Community Garden Replant at the Farm

4 Dates: April 6 at 6PM, April 15 at 9AM, April 20 at 6PM and April 29 at 9AM 

Location: SCC Agriculture Farm – 12206 SE HWY 484, Belleview

Join us at the Second Chance Church Agriculture Farm for Work & Learn days. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to grow food throughout the growing season. Each workday will vary in the skills taught and what you will learn. Examples of topics covered throughout the month: What & When to plant, seeds and starter plants, fertilizing, pest management, watering, weeding, harvesting, back saving tips and tricks for all mobilities and the opportunity to ask questions.

Participants will get to take home fresh veggies, eggs and seeds if available and the knowledge and know-how to go home and duplicate what you’ve learned and share with others. 

Please bring your hat, gloves, kneeling pad or gardening seat if needed. We will provide bottled water.
